Hey breast/chest friend...

Melanated Maternal Support is a CLC ran, inclusive, and fact based lactation counseling service located in Columbia, SC. I am also a married mother of 3 breastfed boys. My goal is to make lactation care affordable and accessible to ALL dyads, but POC in particular. In addition to lactation care, I also provide postpartum doula services. Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for choosing me to guide you through this wonderful bonding experience.

SERVICES

Postpartum Doula services currently include:

Belly Binding
Meal Prep
Cloth Diaper Service
Lactation Support

These services can be combined into a package, and also offered a la carte.

Postpartum Consults cover everything lactation related after you bring your bundle of joy into the world. This includes but is not limited to:

Pump Flange Fitting
Latch Issues
Weighted Feeds

Discounts are available for WIC/Medicaid/SNAP recipients.

Support Classes are for the non lactating parent, childcare professional, and every other support role in between. I currently have classes for:

Prenatal Consults help ease you (and maybe your partner) into what life will be like as a lactating parent. These consults teach breastfeeding basics, afterbirth preparedness, and how to continue the success you experienced in the hospital once you are home.
